I have read information on this site but still need your assistance. My PC exceeds all requirements to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. I have downloaded the media creation tool and downloaded Windows 10 Pro.

As I downloaded Windows 10 to the media file it went through its' updates. I do not want to lose my files and apps. Does anyone have a solution for this situation? I have been using Windows from day one but cannot resolve this issue. One other thing. As it does the install, it states PC will shut down multiple times. My PC did not shut down. Use the Media Creation Tool to create an installation medium. Pull out all external devices except for the mouse and keyboard that are not needed for the update.
